The NCADA International Car Expo is an event held each year where North Carolina’s franchised automobile, truck and RV dealers are represented. The organization commissioned a poster to advertise their upcoming 2017 event.
Below are some of the alternatives as sketches.
The attendees of the NCADA car expo include individuals from all ages and backgrounds with the only common factor being an interest in the vehicles displayed. In order to attract such a large audience the poster needed to attract people’s attention quickly rather than merely catering to a specific dynamic of individuals. This was accomplished mainly with the use of bold colors and shapes, minimal text, and strong graphics.
